Electric Low Fuel Shutoff

JLG boom lifts manufactured after 2011 have an electric low fuel shutoff feature, which shuts the machine down between 1/8 and 1/4 of a tank.

This prevents the machine from running out of fuel completely and potentially damaging the engine as well as the fuel system. When the machine shuts off, it will not flash a code, but the analyzer will display “low fuel level engine shutdown." No need to reset: Simply add fuel, and the machine will restart.
