JLG Updates Its Rotating Telehandler Line - Introduces New R13100 Model

Oct 23, 2025

Redesigned lineup designed for productivity on modern job sites, from working in tight spaces to accessing towering heights

McConnellsburg, PA (October 28, 2025) — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business [NYSE:OSK] and a leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, announces its updated line of JLG® rotating telehandlers, including the introduction of the new R13100 model. Engineered to tackle the most demanding job site challenges, the refreshed lineup delivers both horizontal and vertical lift-and-place capabilities for greater productivity, enhanced operator confidence and advanced technology, well-suited for working in modern complex construction environments.

“JLG’s rotating telehandler line is built for today’s challenging job sites, where space is limited, loads are heavy and productivity is paramount,” says Catherine Lee, Product Manager - Telehandlers, JLG. “With the addition of the new R13100 model, enhanced operator-focused features and standard ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity, this line offers our customers the versatility, power and confidence they need to get the job done efficiently and safely.”

Expanded Performance and Capacity

Advancing the legacy of its predecessor, the R11100, the all-new R13100 model now leads the JLG rotating telehandler family with an impressive 13,200-lb capacity and a maximum lift height of 97-ft. Alongside the R1370 and R1385 models, the R13100 shares a nearly identical base configuration, providing contractors with a consistent, reliable solution across the line.

Powered by robust diesel engines, the R1370 features 134-hp, while the R1385 and R13100 models boast 168-hp. All three models are equipped with a 2-speed, stop-to-shift hydrostatic transmission, helping deliver a smoother ride over uneven terrain.

Innovative Upgrades for Modern Job Sites

The updated rotating telehandler line introduces several enhancements designed to meet evolving job site demands:

  • ClearSky Smart Fleet™ Standard: All models now include JLG’s advanced two-way fleet management and communication platform
  • Redesigned Counterweight: With integrated lights for visibility and job site awareness
  • Cab Enhancements: A new integrated remote-control mount and optimized joystick controls provide operator comfort and efficiency
  • Woodcracker Ready Option: Compatibility with the Woodcracker CS750 Smart grip saw attachment, enabling tree felling capabilities

Confidence-Building Safety Systems

Every model in the JLG rotating telehandler family comes standard with three key safety and control technologies:

  • Automatic Attachment Recognition – Identifies the attachment and displays the appropriate load chart to the operator
  • Load Management Information System (LMIS) – Supports operation outside of load chart boundaries
  • Load Stability Indication (LSI) – Provides visual and audible alerts when approaching forward stability limits

Versatility that Redefines Productivity

With 360-degree rotation, a wide range of attachments, optional hydraulic couplers and continuous auxiliary hydraulics, JLG rotating telehandlers deliver efficient flexibility. They can act as a mobile elevating work platform, a crane alternative or a high-capacity material handler — often replacing multiple machines on-site. The addition of remote boom control, which comes standard on all JLG models, further enhances visibility and control when operating outside the cab.

Designed for Operator Comfort and Efficiency

The redesigned cab improves both functionality and comfort, featuring dual joystick proportional controls, integrated boom-mounted and reversing cameras and an enclosed climate-controlled environment. Operators can also take advantage of the VDC controller to adjust speed, RPMs and steering modes for specific job requirements.

Built for Today’s Job Sites

“Congested job sites present fierce challenges — navigating tight spaces, lifting heavy loads and reaching extreme heights. That’s where JLG rotating telehandlers provide a distinct advantage,” says Lee. “From maneuvering in crowded environments to lifting and loading in any direction, these machines truly revolutionize productivity on modern work sites. Whatever the project demands, this powerful lineup is built to meet the challenge.”
