JLG® Showcases New 1030P Low-Level Access Lift at CONEXPO

10 March 2020

McConnellsburg, Pa. — March 10, 2020 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers, will show its new 1030P push-around lift – the latest addition to the company’s low-level access lineup – at CONEXPO 2020, March 10-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at booth #F5324.

The new manually propelled model offers a 10’ 2” platform height, is 30” wide and weighs just 755 lbs. This light-weight machine is designed with a compact footprint – making it easy to push into place. It is ideal for use in place of scaffolding during both the finishing and regular stages of construction requiring a work height up to 16’.

The 1030P delivers a class-leading 30” x 60” platform, making it a more productive and safer choice than a traditional ladder by providing access to a larger work area without the need for repositioning. Its 550 lb. platform capacity allows for ample tools and materials to be brought to the workspace, thereby reducing user fatigue associated with ascending and descending a ladder.

“Understanding low-level access is not a one-size-fits-all solution, JLG designed the 1030P to give operators more platform space to complete work with a single lift,” said Chad Kritzman, product manager, low-level access, JLG. “This new lift eliminates multiple trips up and down a ladder for greater productivity and improved safety. It is ideal for jobs where multiple tools and a variety of materials are required, such as drywall, plumbing, HVAC and electrical/mechanical work.”

Autolocking wheels initiate when the platform is elevated for greater stability and its lightweight design, in combination with a low ground-bearing pressure make the 1030P perfect for use on floors or in elevators with limited load requirements. A rust-free aluminum deck minimizes maintenance work, while convenient access to service points with easy-to-remove covers maximize uptime.

The 1030P’s enclosed platform with its self-closing swing gate keeps operators secure while working at height, providing a safety benefit not found on open platform scaffolding. Optional equipment includes a pipe rack, narrow basket, tool tray and foam buffer kit to customize the unit for the type of work being completed.
