JLG was named “Access Supplier of the Year,” and the new JLG 340AJ articulating boom lift was awarded “Best New Product of the Year.”

Representatives from throughout  the hire and rental industry – including building and construction, excavating and earthmoving, hoists, materials handling, mining, scaffolding, among others – attended the HRIA Convention. The three-day tradeshow included two indoor display days and a field day during which participants tested a wide range of the latest equipment from conference exhibitors. The 340AJ proved particularly popular and was in constant demand for driving demonstrations, reinforcing the judges’ decision to name it Best Product of 2011. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the award honors JLG’s research, design, engineering and production expertise.
