Train the Trainer Online

Online Learning

The Blended Train-the-Trainer Program starts with four weeks of pre-classroom online coursework. These classes are available 24/7, so you can take sessions during times that are most convenient for you.

Three weekly sessions cover training fundamentals and instruction on aerial work platform and telehandler operation, plus a fourth session to finish online coursework, before heading to the on-site instruction in McConnellsburg, PA.


Train the Trainer Hands On

Hands-on Instruction
The program continues with three days of on-site instruction at the JLG Training Center in McConnellsburg, PA. This state-of-the-art facility features: 

  • Four-acre proving grounds with mixed terrain, simulated power lines and aerial work platform and telehandler targets 
  • Four-bay service training facility 
  • Three classrooms with large projection screens and HD monitors for full views of lessons 
  • Lift and access equipment simulator  

Extensive drive time on the proving grounds plus additional classroom time with qualified instructors round out the blended training program.

The combination of in-depth online courses and practical experience boosts retention and lowers the learning curve when faced with real-world scenarios.

Train the Trainer Classroom

Graduates are qualified to teach JLG AWP Platform and Telehandler Operator training courses. They’re also provided with all training materials, including animated demonstrations of equipment use and access to an online version of the JLG equipment simulator.

No other train-the-trainer program delivers such a robust blend of in-depth theory and hands-on experience to provide the knowledge and confidence to teach equipment operators.

Graduates of our Train-the-Trainer program are eligible to join AccessReady. AccessReady is a program that connects JLG-qualified trainers with trainees in need of operator training through an easy-to-use online portal. It allows you to market your skills with the backing of an industry leader.
