Baltimore, MD — March 19, 2018 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading global manufacturer of aerial equipment will showcase select low-level access solutions, vertical lifts and compact crawler booms at the National Facilities Management & Technology Expo March 20 – 22 in Baltimore, MD, at booth #1909.

“This is an important show for JLG as we continue to expand our offering of purpose-built equipment for facilities management. Our machines are frequently used both indoors and outdoors across a range of tasks,” said Randy Marzicola, director, channel development for JLG Industries, Inc.

Low-level Access Solutions

The JLG® FT70 and FT140 LiftPod® models will be on display. The 7’ and 14’ LiftPod personal portable lifts provide facility maintenance workers a secure platform and the ability to work 360 degrees with both hands. These units lift workers to heights of up to 20 feet. LiftPod personal lifts can be assembled or disassembled in just minutes, are easy to maneuver and feature a convenient tool tray. A portable man lift is a convenient choice for plant and facility maintenance projects.

The EcoLift™ 50 and EcoLift 70 human-powered lifts will also be shown. These products are ideal for situations where a ladder isn’t the best option for the task at hand. The innovative lift/lower mechanism on the EcoLift line is simple to use and gives operators the confidence to tackle low-level tasks like changing light bulbs, hanging décor or accessing HVAC ductwork. EcoLift is a power-free product line with no oil, batteries or hydraulics, making it an eco-friendly, non-disruptive solution for use in noise-sensitive areas.

One of the newest in its line of low-level access solutions, the 830P, will also be featured. Popular for finish work or routine maintenance, the 830P is excellent for use on sensitive flooring. This push around mast lift combines height and reach with low ground pressure, delivering access without the concern of excessive weight.

The 10MSP, the newest in the JLG® line of vertical lifts, will be featured at the show. With an increase in the maximum stowed drive speed from 3.5 to 5 miles per hour and new simultaneous drive-and-lift capabilities, the 10MSP enables operators to navigate facilities quickly, driving greater efficiency over the course of the work day.

The simultaneous drive-and-lift feature requires both hands to be on the controls to create greater operator efficiency and closer positioning of the machine to the work area. Standard maintenance-free 210 amp-hr AGM batteries and a lubrication-free mast and mast guide system increase uptime.

“All of the features on the recently enhanced 10MSP allow operators to do more—carry more, reach higher, move faster and work longer,” said Aaron Haynes, product manager for JLG® vertical lifts. “The results are improved performance, reduced downtime, and increased productivity.”

Compact Crawler Booms

JLG will also have on display a 3-D model previewing its X1000AJ, which will be available to customers late fall 2018. The X1000AJ will offer a market-leading work envelope with 56 feet up and over and 54 feet of horizontal outreach, plus a best-in-class 105-foot work height. It also boasts a class-leading 500-pound unrestricted platform capacity, allowing operators to bring more materials to the work area.

The X1000AJ demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to deliver the industry’s broadest range of access equipment, with this newest addition expanding its popular CCB line into the 100-foot height class.

“We are excited to bring the X1000AJ to market later this year,” said Marzicola. “Our innovative line of CCBs has rapidly expanded, with this newest model addressing our customers’ wants and needs. By offering a full range of CCB machines, we reinforce our focus on developing equipment solutions that meet the requirements of our customers.”

A compact footprint allows the X1000AJ to fit through a standard double doorway for easy movement between indoor and outdoor applications. Non-marking tracks, which retract, along with a patented platform disconnect system, make it easy to maneuver this machine through tight spaces. The X1000AJ is less than 22 feet long and under 20 feet long when the platform is removed.

This new model is perfect for those tough and hard to reach indoor/outdoor applications in atriums; gymnasiums; arenas; auditoriums; airports; schools and universities; and city, state, federal, and military facilities. Hotel and convention centers will appreciate the X1000AJ’s versatility and ease of mobility. It’s also ideal for jobs performed by window washers, painters, maintenance professionals, electricians and tree trimmers.

Also on display from the JLG® compact crawler boom line will be its smallest model, the X430AJ.
