JLG DISPLAYS EXTENSIVE LINE OF RENTAL-READY PRODUCTS AND SUPPORT SERVICES AT THE RENTAL SHOW 2017

Sunday, February 26, 2017

Orlando, Fla. — Feb. 27, 2017 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, showcased a variety of rental-ready equipment along with its wide portfolio of aftermarket parts, service and training programs at booth #4163 at The Rental Show, which opened earlier today in Orlando, Florida.

JLG® introduced visitors to the newest addition to its expanding line of training programs – AccessReady. The new offering is designed to train operators to use JLG and competitive model aerial work platforms (AWPs) and telehandlers safely and efficiently.  AccessReady instructors have successfully participated and graduated from one of JLG’s three Train-the-Trainer programs. Equipment owners and renters can choose either a classroom or online option to complete their training. For those who select the classroom option, the AccessReady program helps them locate JLG-qualified instructors in their area. The online class option includes an e-learning course and an area-based option to locate a JLG-qualified instructor to handle the hands-on evaluation necessary to complete operator qualification. AccessReady is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to provide robust training opportunities to end-user customers.

Visitors to the JLG booth also viewed a selection of the company’s rental-ready line of access equipment. The machines on display represented a variety of product categories, including low-level access, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers. JLG low-level access solutions offer a safe, efficient and simple alternative to ladders and scaffolding. Equipment models include the eco-friendly, non-powered EcoLift™ series; the 830P push-around mast lift; and LiftPod® personal portable lifts.

“As an industry leader in the access equipment category, JLG has been bringing quality, reliable products and customer-focused programs and services to the rental industry for 48+ years,” said Alan Loux, vice president – global marketing, access segment, JLG Industries, Inc. “This year, we’re excited to introduce our new AccessReady operator training program as part of our expanding training programs.”
