One Machine, Many Uses: JLG T500J Tow-Pro Hits the Slopes
Workplace Safety Success Story
When most people think of a ski resort, they think of fresh powder and warm fireplaces. Marlin Van Zandt, Operations Manager at the Snow Valley Ski Club in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, sees a sprawling complex full of unique challenges. For example, replacing the bulbs of the club’s light poles became increasingly more difficult as the club expanded. The lift Van Zandt had been renting struggled to climb the slopes, and the variability in the terrain made replacing bulbs on uneven terrain a hazard for his crew.

Van Zandt turned to JLG’s towable boom lift, the T500J Tow-Pro. The reach and platform capacity met his needs, but the portability and leveling features made the T500J a true asset to Van Zandt and his team. Read this case study to learn how one machine transformed day-to-day operations for a growing business.
