New ANSI-approved standards have been established for the performance, testing, instructions, maintenance and more of self-retracting devices as proposed by the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE). Additionally, it also establishes requirements for self-retracting devices intended for use in personal fall arrest or rescue systems for authorized people in the 130 to 310-pound capacity range. Online Express Mobile App Now Available
JLG Online Express customers can now access the portal through their iPhone and iPad. The new mobile app allows users to check parts availability and pricing, build parts orders that can be placed from JLG Online Express, track parts order status, view manuals and access serial number specific information. You must have a registered Online Express username to access the app.

JLG to Build ATLAS II Forklifts for the U.S. Army
The U.S. Army placed a $20.6 million order for JLG to build a total of 116 All Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS II) telescopic forklifts. These vehicles will be delivered to U.S. Army facilities around the globe. “These vehicles, which provide exceptional rough terrain capability and versatility, will further improve the ability of our soldiers to quickly and reliably carry out their logistical missions,” said Denny Buterbaugh, JLG’s vice president – government products and programs.
