JLG has lost one of our most cherished team members. Donald R. “Griff” Griffith, age 56, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away February 22, 2013 at the Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA.
Griff started his career at JLG in March of 1986 in Assembly. He had numerous positions over the years, including: Assembler, Scheduling, Material Control, Group Leader and Customer Service Representative. He spent that time creating and building relationships within JLG and throughout the customer base. He also came to know the product as well as anyone could. One of the most sought after Call Center agents that JLG has ever had, it was not uncommon for an Agent to answer the phone and hear, “Let me talk to Griff.”
He was born September 23, 1956 in Somerset, PA, the son of the late Charles and Wilma (Bittner) Griffith. He was married to Cindy Moffat Griffith on July 5, 1975. Griff is survived by his wife of 37 years Cindy Griffith, 2 daughters, Wendy Souders and Jennifer Mellott and 5 grandchildren (Dylan, Reva, Savannah, Jaylynn and Cayden). He is also survived by two brothers, Terry Griffith and Dennis Griffith.
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend, Coworker and Customer Advocate: Rest in peace Griff. You will be sorely missed.
