Electric Low Fuel Shutoff
Tech Tip
JLG boom lifts manufactured after 2011 have an “electric low fuel shutoff” feature, which shuts the machine down between 1/8 and 1/4 of a tank. This prevents the machine from running out of fuel completely and potentially damaging the engine as well as the fuel system. When the machine shuts off, it will not flash a code, but the analyzer will display “low fuel level engine shutdown." No need to reset: Simply add fuel, and the machine will restart.

Please contact your Regional Service Manager or a JLG service representative if further information is required.

Platform Soft Touch Kits

JLG’s Platform Soft Touch system mounts a padding kit to the platform guardrails and a frame suspended below the platform. If the padded framework comes in contact with an adjacent structure, proximity sensors will deactivate platform functions to protect the machine and its surroundings. For convenience, an override button permits “undoing.”
