McConnellsburg, Pa. — April 12, 2016 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, today announced the launch of its Certified Pre-owned Equipment Program for booms in the EMEA region. Already successful in the United States and United Kingdom, the proven certification program benefits customers in the market for good quality used equipment at a fair value.

The EMEA region JLG® Certified Pre-owned Equipment Program, which only applies to booms, is available on equipment that passes JLG certification criteria, including a 50+ point inspection performed at an official JLG site or a service agent appointed by JLG. Certified equipment covered by the EMEA program come with a six-month parts and labor warranty.

“This program gives buyers the confidence that the pre-owned equipment they are buying is coming from a name they can trust and with a warranty they can rely on,” said Antonio Gomez de la Vega, JLG Industries senior manager, aftermarket sales & pre-owned equipment for EMEA. “Our certified program takes the guesswork out of buying used equipment and adds a simple ‘peace of mind’ that cannot be matched anywhere else.”

According to Gomez de la Vega, the program also supplies customers with a variety of equipment that meets their specific needs.

Visitors to booth F.904/5 during Bauma 2016 will see a pre-owned JLG 1930ES electric scissor lift that has been through the JLG certification program.
