Hoofddorp, The Netherlands — January 22, 2015 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, will showcase its latest product innovations for audiences from Europe, Africa and the Middle East at the upcoming InterMat show taking place 20 to 25 April 2015 in Paris-Nord Villepinte, France. JLG will feature a hybrid-powered boom lift, a new rough terrain scissor lift, new midsize boom lifts, a new compact crawler and its recently launched RS telehandler.

JLG will show its hybrid telescopic boom lift, the H340AJ, as a representation of its soon-to-be launched series of hybrid machines. The H340AJ offers the industry’s first four-wheel AC drive. The entire series will offer class-leading work envelopes, capacities and lift speeds. Each machine in the line provides the power and durability of a diesel machine with low emissions and operational savings. And because they are also battery powered they can be used indoors, providing greater flexibility.

JLG will also unveil a new RT scissor lift. This diesel-powered lift is designed to handle rough terrain and challenging job sites.

A selection of new midsize boom lifts will also be exhibited. In addition to industry-leading productivity, lift speeds, and simplified serviceability, this series of lifts also features aesthetic improvements. The RT scissor lift and the midsize boom lifts will debut to the public at The Rental Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, 22 to 25 February 2015.

JLG will also debut its X26J Plus compact crawler boom lift at Intermat, which employs an articulating boom that also telescopes to provide 22.8m of reach - yet stows in a very compact footprint. In the transport position, the X26J Plus is less than 1m wide and 2m high, making it easy to move between work sites.

The X26J Plus has more than 249kg of unrestricted platform capacity, yet still provides 30 percent more reach than its predecessor model. A new jib design and platform rotation improves up-and-over capabilities. The improved electric motor provides 20 percent more torque and 43 percent more speed. A new housing on the remote control panel simplifies operation.

Last but not least, JLG will exhibit its RS telehandler, part of the RS line launched in 2014 and designed specifically for the rental markets in Europe/Africa/Middle East (EAME), Latin America and Asia. These machines were developed to meet the rental industry’s demands for simple ownership, clean design and simple upkeep. The RS line has demonstrated strong return on investment (ROI), the result of its attractive initial purchase price, standard two-year warranty, low maintenance costs, and high “rentability” – the appeal of the machine to the renter.
