McConnellsburg, Pa. — December 22, 2014 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and the world’s leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of access equipment such as aerial work platforms and telescopic handlers, today recognized its 15 year anniversary in Brazil, and reiterated its long term commitment to this important market.  As part of this commitment, JLG is strengthening its position in the market by expanding its aftermarket service and continuing to provide dedicated resources for customers throughout the region.  In addition, JLG is unveiling a new logo featuring the number 15 to highlight the years the company has been in business in Brazil.

Some of JLG’s other notable achievements in Brazil include being one of the first manufacturers of access equipment and lifts to establish in Brazil, as well as one of the first manufacturers of access equipment in Brazil to deploy the shuttle order picking solution in a distribution facility.  This cutting-edge technology supports efficient business operations by expediting the picking process and enabling employees to fill orders at a significantly increased speed.  Another notable achievement is JLG’s mobile app ‘Online Express.’ which allows customers to access direct quotes, warranty service and manuals, all in their native in-country language, making it easier for them to do business with JLG.
