OSHA Issues Rule for Confined Spaces

Tech Tips - Feb 18

Confined spaces pose many safety concerns for construction workers, including airborne and physical hazards that can be avoided if a plan is in place prior to workers entering these spaces.

To protect more workers, OSHA announced a 2015 rule for confined spaces that includes leveraging the potential of monitoring technology and improving the way employers share information about their job sites. This rule aims to eliminate and isolate hazards in confined spaces to prevent construction workers from being injured on the job.
