Personal Finances Training
This program provides real-life tips for early-workforce team members. It provides financial knowledge that isn't gained within school regarding 401(k)s, life insurance, college debt, mortgage and rent, monthly budgeting, and more. This training is conducted each summer and our interns have always found it to be one of their most valuable trainings or seminars.
Build Your Personal Brand
This workshop teaches interns how to build their own personal brand. Focuses include: how to build your network of connections, how to write a successful resume, how to use LinkedIn to advance your career, how to build a professional persona, and more.
Spirit Weeks
Throughout the week, show us your team spirit by representing your college, wearing your favorite sports team's jersey, and wearing your segment's branded gear—just to name a few. Additionally, we also have baseball games and cookouts!
Good to Give Back Charity Event
Each summer, our interns volunteer for half a day in their local community. Our interns help the community by supporting local food pantries, assisting with yard work, park and beach cleanup, Humane Society adoptions, youth mentoring and much more. JLG parent company, Oshkosh Corporation, has had 184+ Global Volunteer Events with over 6,199+ volunteer hours corporation wide through the Good to Give Back charity event.
