Aerial Work Platforms - JLG Ultra Boom Service Training
Who Should Attend This Course? This course is for the JLG AWP service technician who will be servicing and repairing JLG Ultra Boom models. The technicians should have a minimum of 3 years of AWP service experience, have successfully completed the Basic Hydraulic and Electrical Course, Technician Fundamentals Course, and a JLG machine specific course that covered the ADE system, and have a thorough working knowledge of how to properly use a Digital Volt Ohm Meter (DVOM).
Course Objectives The objectives of the Ultra Boom courses are to provide the opportunity for service technicians to learn and understand the machine's hydraulic and electrical systems; how to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical problems; how to properly pressure check the hydraulic system; proper boom operation and adjustment procedures; stablility control systems; unique machine operational characteristics; JLG analyzer usage; CANbus troubleshooting; and machine maintenance criteria and schedules. This will be accomplished through classroom and hands-on exercises. Models Covered 1200SJP, 1250AJP, 1350SJP
Materials Includes the JLG Service Training Manual plus a complete set of relevant hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Administration This course runs three days, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily beginning on Tuesday and concluding on Thursday. Early departures will not be awarded a certificate. Lunch is provided for students at JLG Training Centers.

A shuttle will run between the recommended hotel and the JLG Training Center at the McConnellsburg Training Center only. No shuttle service will be provided at the Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Orrville, OH; and Riverside, CA Training Centers.
Tuition Tuition is $350 per student for the three-day course at JLG Training Centers.
How to Enroll To enroll in JLG Training Courses, download and fill out the JLG Training Registration Form, fax it to: 717-485-6013. If you do not have an authorized JLG account number, please contact your local JLG distributor. For customer location training, contact the JLG Training Department for a quote.
Course Cancellation Policy Customer Cancellations: Cancellations must be faxed to the JLG Training Department at 717-485-6013 at least 14 days prior to the scheduled course. Failure to do so will result in a fee of $150 per person in addition to any actual expenses accrued.
JLG Course Cancellations: Every reasonable attempt will be made to conduct scheduled courses. However in the event a course must be canceled, customers will be notified 14 days prior to the course start date whenever possible. Regrettably, JLG cannot be responsible for any incurred expenses due to class cancellations. Please plan your travel accordingly.
