Parts Training
This course is designed to give new and experienced parts personnel insight into the JLG parts operation, systems, services and programs. The added value gained through this training will assist you in providing better customer service, increased machine up-time, and improved profitability. The course features classroom and hands-on opportunities that will enhance the learning experience while gaining new skill sets to assist in making your parts business successful. Upon successful completion (passing grade of 70% or better) the graduates will receive a certificate.
Who Should Attend This Course? Parts managers, purchasing managers and service managers who are responsible for procuring, managing and retailing aftermarket service parts for access equipment. This course includes classroom training, online training and hands-on exercises that give parts personnel the skills needed to make your parts business successful.
Course Objectives The objective of the JLG Parts Training course is to educate parts personnel in the following areas:
- Order Management
- PartsPlus®
- Policies and Procedures
- Online Express®
- Parts Research
- Retailing Parts
- Customer Service
Materials Includes the JLG Parts Training Manual, PartsPlus book, Quick Reference Guides, Telehandler Attachment and Fork Guide, and a variety of parts marketing tools.
Administration This is a day-and-a-half course, running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and concludeds at 1:00 pm on Wednesday. Early departures will not be awarded a certificate. Lunch will be provided at the JLG Training Centers.

For courses being conducted at all JLG Training Centers, transportation between the hotel and the training center will be the responsibility of the students.
Tuition Tuition is $199 per student at JLG Training Centers.
How to Enroll To enroll in JLG Training Courses or to request training at your facility, download and fill out the JLG Training Registration Form, fax it to 717-485-6013, and a training specialist will contact you. If you do not have an authorized JLG account number, please contact your local JLG distributor. For customer location training, contact the JLG Training Department at 1-877-JLG-LIFT for a quote.
Course Cancellation Policy Customer Cancellations: Cancellations must be faxed to the JLG Training Department at 717-485-6013 at least 14 days prior to the scheduled course. Failure to do so will result in a fee of $150 per person in addition to any actual expenses accrued.
JLG Course Cancellations: Every reasonable attempt will be made to conduct scheduled courses. However in the event a course must be canceled, customers will be notified 14 days prior to the course start date whenever possible. Regrettably, JLG cannot be responsible for any incurred expenses due to class cancellations. Please plan your travel accordingly.
