Application Approval
JLG products are designed to operate safely and reliably when maintained and operated in accordance with posted warnings on the machine, the applicable Operators & Safety Manual, and with all jobsite and government rules and regulations.
Our products provide an efficient means of access to elevated heights, and offer many advantages over traditional means of height access. Sometimes, owners or users want to use their JLG products in an application for which it was not originally designed. If you have a similar situation, you must obtain permission from JLG, as stipulated by applicable government regulations and industry standards.
All applications must be submitted to JLG's Product Safety & Reliability Department for evaluation and consideration for approval.
All requests must be in written (or typed) form and include the following items:
- A detailed description of the proposed application, and all necessary information.
- Sketches or illustration showing the proposed application.
You must complete an application for product modifications and repairs.
The Product Safety & Reliability Department will evaluate the request and respond to you in writing.
