Courses
Service Training
Service Training Courses are designed to provide your service personnel with an understanding of the construction, operation and maintenance of JLG equipment. These courses feature classroom and hands-on training opportunities to enhance the learning experience. Successful completion of this course (passing grade of 70% or better) qualifies graduates to perform periodic inspections, prescribed maintenance and warranty repairs on specific JLG equipment.
As new JLG models are introduced, service technicians should update their education accordingly by enrolling in new courses designed to cover those new models.
Safety Training
JLG Safety Training conveys important information for owners and operators of JLG equipment. JLG offers two of the premier training programs in the industry, developed by JLG and delivered by JLG instructors.
The JLG Train-the-Trainer Course is a highly acclaimed, comprehensive three-day course. Individuals attending this course not only have their operator qualifications updated on both AWPs and Telehandlers, but also receive the necessary training to conduct their own operator training programs. If having a resident in-house instructor is not feasible, we also provide Operator Training Courses through a network of JLG instructors. These courses are OSHA and ANSI compliant and conducted at a location and time of your choice.
Operator Training Courses, in either English or Spanish, are designed to train operators in the proper use of either AWP or Telehandler equipment. Operators of AWPs or Telehandlers must be familiar with all controls and trained on the safe and proper use of the equipment. Courses, specifically designed for AWPs or Telehandlers, will feature classroom and hands-on training to qualify the operator on the particular models. After passing an exam, operators will receive a wallet card.
Parts Training
Parts Training is designed to give new and experienced personnel insight into the JLG parts operation, systems, services and programs. The added value gained through this training will assist you in providing better customer service, increased machine up-time and improved profitability. |
